- Can't make it? Call starter ASAP to cancel your tee time.
- No tee time, but want to play? CALL or arrive EARLY to fill spots created by cancellations.
* Please remember - The regulation time for the course is 2 hours and 10 minutes. To achieve this pace please play "ready" golf and limit practice swings. Golfers should advance their ball to the green at double par, on hole five if you have reached 8 strokes. Thank you for your co-operation.

Bundle Up for April 8th!
REMINDER: Temps this Wednesday (4/8/26) morning are predicted to range from the low 30's to mid 40's. It is possible that there could be a Frost Delay. Please check the Course Operating Status by calling 703 573-0444 Ext 1 Wednesday morning.
If your tee time falls within a frost delay, your tee time is cancelled. If this occurs and you’d still like to play, you will need to see if there is an opening once the course opens. Jefferson staff members are in charge of assigning people to any open slots, so please check in with them and do as they instruct (with courtesy please).
If you do not like to play in temps under 45 degrees, please go online to JWGLgolf.com and cancel before Tuesday evening so others who want to play have some tee time options. Anyone cancelling Wednesday morning needs to call the clubhouse @ 703 573-0444 Ext 3.
On the positive side: the sun is supposed to be shining AND the computer will subtract our putts since the greens have just been aerated!

HOW TO JOIN OUR WEDNESDAY LEAGUE
All new applications will be added to the JWGL waitlist and held for future membership openings, which will be in 2028 at the earliest given the number of applicants already on the waitlist.
You can access information about the league on the website using the Menu in the upper right hand corner. The League plays at the Fairfax County Jefferson golf course every Wednesday morning, from the first week in April until the last week in October. Tee times are generally from 7:00-10:30 a.m. It is a competitive league that tracks scores and handicaps. Members must play a minimum of 7 rounds each season to maintain their membership. The league does not provide golf instructions.
All applicants must:
- have experience playing on golf courses, and have played at least 24 rounds
- understand the basic rules of golf set forth by the U.S. Golf Association
- be able to play 9 holes in 2 hours and 15 minutes
- have their own golf clubs
- have sufficient computer skills to be able to sign up and record scores on the league’s website
